Fact is, any judge who hears this case and makes a ruling is afraid for his life and of retribution so will chose to pass.  This is a sample of the spineless court system we live with in this century.  Our Constitution is now being made a "mockery" by the Federal Government, the DNC, and the Courts who are all "in the tank" with Barack Obama.

A phrase that keeps ringing in my ear - 'Beware of the enemy from within'!!!

Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice. On June 30 I celebrate my independence day, and on July 4 I celebrate America's. This year is special, because it marks the 40th anniversary of my independence.

On June 30, 1968, I escaped Communist Cuba, and a few months later, I was in the United States to stay.  That I happened to arrive in Richmond on Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.

I've thought a lot about the anniversary this year. The election-year rhetoric has made he think a lot about Cuba and what transpired there. In the late 1950's, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a change, and they were right. So when a young leader came along, every Cuban was at least receptive.

When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced the old system, the press fell in love with him.   They never questioned who his friends were or what he really believed in. When he said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, everyone followed.

When he said he would bring justice and equality to all, everyone said, "Praise the Lord."

And when the young leader said, "I will be for change and I'll bring you change", everyone yelled, "Viva Fidel."

But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner's guns went silent, the people's guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time everyone received their free education, it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him.  By the time the change was finally implemented, Cuba had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was over, more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes.  You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in the world the most fortunate Cubans. And now I'm back to the beginning of my story.

Luckily, we would never fall in America for a young leader who promised change without asking, what change?  How will you carry it out? What will it cost America ?

This is what's happening in the Good ol' USA.

Back when the Immigration and Naturalization Department was under the Justice Department, in order to become a US citizen one had to learn the English Language (how to speak, read and write).  Now we have to press a number in order to hear a menu in English.  When was this little requirement deleted?  Of course now, the INS is a division of Homeland Security.  I don't know about you, but I feel less secure in knowing we have American Citizens that cannot read, write, or speak English.  What went wrong?  I'll tell you what went wrong.  Complacency, Tolerance.  As you should know, a complacent and tolerant country WILL NOT SURVIVE.  Wake Up you idiots!!!

I just recently came across a site by accident called xxxchurch.com that made me sick.  I have always and WILL always believe that a Christian will show in everyday life his or her conviction to their beliefs.  This site wants to glorify things the Bibles teachings have condemned.  Whatever happened to practicing what we preach.  Being a good neighbor, and doing what’s right  in the eyes of God has somehow evolved into doing what we want and using God as justification for our actions.  We seem to want to point fingers at the rest of the world because they don’t believe the way we do but, after coming across this site, I’m beginning to see how other countries can look down on some of our beliefs.  The old saying to remove the twig from our own eye before trying to remove one from another’s  is, by all means, relevant in this case.  We have groups in this country trying to claim “GOD” for everything from Porn to Drugs and there needs to be a limit to how far we will allow this to go.  The story of Sodom and Gomorra tells us that God is against the “Gay” lifestyle.  Yet we have come to the point that we are allowing them to not only go to our churches but to get married in them.  If we are ever going to regain the respect this country once had in the rest of the world, we desperately need to clean up our own back yard.  Wake up and smell the coffee. You can only get respect when you can give respect and you can only do that if you respect yourself.

HOUSE CLEANING NEEDED IN THE U.S.A.

We need to do some serious house cleaning.  We have totally gotten away from the initial intent of our Founding Fathers in every way imaginable.  Our government (for the people and by the people?) and the courts have managed to take away our rights one small bite at a time.  The courts have managed to re-defined the original intent of the framers of the Constitution to fit into today's sick society of political correctness, perverts, socialists (nice word for communists), illegal immigrants, and yes...the ACLU (Antichrist?).  The Supreme Court has managed to lead the way in stripping our country of its values, which were instilled by those great men at the Constitutional Convention of 1787.  And, moreover, the government has finally succeeded in telling mom and dad how to raise their children, as well has telling the business owners whom they can and cannot hire or fire according to the strict qualifications the government imposes on small businesses.  In addition, we are all taxed to pay for social programs and 'pork' for special interests and for those who will not work.  It is not the government's role to feed and clothe the people, unless it is perhaps a socialist form of government.  Besides, anything the federal government gets involved where they shouldn't be involved only creates chaos.  Our federal government can screw up a one-man rock fight.  It needs to stay out of our homes and businesses, and let the churches and charitable organizations do their work for the homeless and poor.

What about our borders?  I believe it was President Reagan who said, "A country without borders is not a country at all."  Well, I believe we are on the brink of that disaster in our efforts to joint the Global cause.  That cause will certainly be the death of America.

To sum it up, our government is one step away from a total socialistic regime.   The exception has become the rule. Until we do a thorough house cleaning and get our priorities back in order, we will continue in a moral decay and downward spiral.  God Fearing men founded our government on Biblical principals.   It was never intended that God be left out of government activities and processes, nor kicked out of the American public life.  Hey, I'm not making this stuff up.  It's in our history books. (maybe not in the ones written in the last 20 years however)  For you intellectual idiots with absolutely no common sense, I challenge you and anyone else who reads this to do some research on the Original Intent of the Founding Fathers (along with the minutes of the Constitutional Convention), and, while you're at it read George Orwell's Animal Farm, which should be a required reading for all American Public Schools.  And, while I'm at it, if we still had some good old-fashioned butt whippings in the homes and public schools, we probably wouldn't have the discipline problems and shootings in schools that we have had in the last decade.

We certainly will not be able to function as a leader on planet earth if we don't get our own house in order first!  God help us all.  I don't want my children and grandchildren to be left with a total socialistic government, if it's not too late already.  Wake up and smell the smoke!!

Dear Editor:

So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is

made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down

the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry. Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of

immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas

of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and

stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get

down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to

uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times.

They made learning English a primary rule in their new American

households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new

home.

They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a

new life and did everything in their power to help their children

assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity. Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought alongside men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan . None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of America as one people. When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans.  And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a

disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These

immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the

melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.

And here we are in 2007 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same

rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life . I think they would be appalled that they are being  used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.  And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill.  I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.
